A lady customer came with a phone filled with perfume. She put the phone together with her perfume in her shoulder bag. So how to remove the perfume oil from the phone? Only dish washing liquid can do the job. We quickly dismantle the entire phone, dump everything into a container except battery and add water mix with dish washing liquid. Then use a small brush to clean all the parts. Later on, rinse with water and use a dry cloth to wipe away all the excessive water. Final step, we use a hot air blower to dry it completely. After fix back everything, guess what? It works! And we only charge a minimum charges of rm50 to remove all the perfume oil from the phone. Well sounds easy to do, but please let Planet Mobile do the job, you might make it worse like losing some of the parts or maybe brushing it too hard until some of the chips missing. Doesn't sound nice right?
- The lesson here is never use cheap perfume or put anything that contain liquid with the phone! It might leak out from the bottle or container. Not everytime so lucky can save the phone.
